The redundancy switch ZTRS6000, developed by Zenitel, enables the possibility to connect 2 repeaters / base stations to build an redundant configuration for indoor and special coverage locations.

Description

In HF communicaton systems normally 2 repeaters are used to cover their own part of the antenna system and distribute the HF signals. By implementing the Zenitel redundancy switch it will never occur that malfunction of one repeater will lead to communication problems in that part of the system. The redundancy switch will continuously monitors the HF signals provided and will automatically switch/connect the remaining repeater to that part of the system in case the measured values are below user definable triggerlevels or in case of a complete malfunction of a particular repeater. This results in a redundant system where in case of a emergency one repeater will distribute the HF signals into the complete antenna system. The status of the redundancy switch and both repeater / base stations are presented by the LED's at the front panel of the switch.

Via the web based tool it is possible to remotely configure different parameters and continuously monitor the provided HF power output.
